| Desolation! My nephew and I recently went on a 3 day hiking trip in Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe Calif. Here are some of my pics. If you care to look on Microsoft’s virtual earth you can find the area as it looked while we were there. If you look at Google Earth it’s all covered in snow. We hiked up Horse Tail Falls and camped at Ropi Lake below Pyramid Peak. The name of the file indicates the date and time that the picture was taken +1 hour since my camera was not set correctly. |
