| Thanks Al. I just made a few more, I kinda like them. It's the Argonath statues that came with the Lord of the Rings Collector's Edition. Gollum and Minas Tirith from the other two Collector's boxes will follow tomorrow ...         Max zoom would have been this:  |

| Heh cheers guys.  Greggles - 6500fd is quite nice for macros, got one problem though. In "Supermacro" mode, you'll have to get very, VERY close to the object. If it touches the lens you're close enough ... with the Raynox DCR-250 that's fixed -and- it offers quite a massive extra magnification, too ... |

| Those Gollum shots are great- the perspective and DoF completely belies the size of the subject. Only crit is that the face closeup (3rd pic of the Gollum sequence) is a little underexposed, could do with a bit of postwork I think, might be fixable. |
