Downloads: 1 Uploads: 0   | Austria 2007 Hey guys.  Just got back from two weeks in Austria- we were staying not far from Salzburg, in a place called St Wolfgang- on the banks of Wolfgangsee. We got a real mixed-bag of weather, sunny days to start, then torrential rain over the middle weekend- the more observant of you might notice the banks of the lakes and rivers not being quite as they should in some pics... Over the holiday we travelled extensively in the local area, to Salzburg, Bad Ischl, Mondsee, Hallstadt, and further afield too- as far as Vienna in the east, and Cesky Krumlov (in the Czech Republic) in the north. I've gone through two memory cards over the fortnight, taking about 500 pictures- the best ones so far are the ones I'm uploading here. I used two lenses while I was away- the Canon 17-85mm f4-5.6 USM IS, and the Canon 70-200mm f4L USL. The body was a Canon EOS 350D. As usual with my initial posts, these pics are direct from the memory cards- I've not dont any post work or correction on them yet, so they wont be perfect- I'll go back to the ones that I think need some work as and when I get the chance. Comments and suggestions are welcome as always. [edit]Looks like I have more shrinking to do- there's only a few of them creep below SFM's silly jpeg restriction size.  [/edit] |
