A cloth ![]() Pen ![]() Pen 100% crop ![]() My Zippo ![]() 50€ note ![]() Again, a 50€ note ![]() 100% crop of that ![]() A 2€ coin. ![]() These were part of an experiment. My normal macro lens is a Tamron 90mm 2.8 which "magnifies" up to 1:1. That means that the object appears in it's real size on the sensor. And as the sensor is pretty dang small, you get some nice close ups. Now what I did is a pretty well know macro trick with a twist. Some people use their lenses in the "retro" setup. That means they mount it with the "business end" facing the camera instead of the object. Normally that improves the quality. I added another the retro lens to my Tamron.
