Macros are fun ...

A cloth

Pen

Pen 100% crop

My Zippo

50€ note

Again, a 50€ note

100% crop of that

A 2€ coin.

These were part of an experiment. My normal macro lens is a Tamron 90mm 2.8 which "magnifies" up to 1:1. That means that the object appears in it's real size on the sensor. And as the sensor is pretty dang small, you get some nice close ups. Now what I did is a pretty well know macro trick with a twist. Some people use their lenses in the "retro" setup. That means they mount it with the "business end" facing the camera instead of the object. Normally that improves the quality. I added another the retro lens to my Tamron. That looked like this:

Thought you guys might like these.

Wow.. cool!

Try making a photo from your fingertip or something, is also rather cool.
Or try a housefly

Photo's are really good, i like them very much.

In life only 2 questions really matter: 'Who am I?', and 'Who do I want to become?'.
The answer to these questions is identical for both, but in different words.

Thanks a bunch. Houseflies, well... in Germany they're rather rare in Winter. Dunno about you Netherlandish folks ...
