| You hassle, you die. | Cool, DSLR ftw. Now, may I ask what made you choose Pentax? Just curious. You've got some nice pictures there. I'll just take the liberty to give my totally unimportant two cents here. Don't take any offence, I mean none. All purely constructive! ![]() Are the waterdrops cropped? I think that'd be too much noise for ISO200 and no-cropped pics. IMHO the first one looks best although it's not entirely in focus. But I know that's rather hard to do. The Chili-Lowkey is awesome, just a wee bit too low maybe. ![]() The Bimmer pic (nice one btw. yours?) is cropped too much on it's top and bottom, makes the picture look incomplete. A less cropped one would probably be much better. The idea of the second one is very cool imho, the (fore)ground is just taking too much room IMHO, it dominates the picture too much. But that might just as well be personal preference. The third one is nicely seen. And although I'm sure it's intentional, I think it tilts too much, but that again might just be personal preference. And the monkey - yes, everybody loves monkey. But Corona stinks. ![]() I hope you'll have fun with your new toy, it's a damn fine hobby indeed. |

![]() CCD-Shift shake reduction is a real Plus, since it works with any lens. And since I want to use it when traveling I don't always have a tripod with me... (in fact, I don't even HAVE a tripod yet )Another reason I chose Pentax is thet I can use any K-Bayonet Lens ever made, so I can get pretty good older lenses on ebay for really low prices (important since I'm a poor student )Quote:
The chili looks just fine on my monitor, but it might just be its bad calibration. I have noticed it being a bit on the dark side on most other monitors I've seen it on...Quote:
It actually was the only car in the garage at that time, I was just lucky that it was quite a nice car and not some shabby vehicle (could have been cleaner though ) I'll try adjusting the cropping a bit.On the second one I just liked the texture of the floor and the feeling of being completely alone in the middle of the city. I just took the picture the way I saw it so it might be only half as interesting if you have not seen it in reality ![]() The monkey was actually the very first pictures I made, and Corona doesn't stink! Of course it's nothing compared to a good bottle of Austrian Hirter Beer ![]() Well, thanks for your suggestions, you'll definately see more from me in the near future, and yes, that's a threat ![]() | |||
