Love the car, and judging by the hard shadow in the 3rd picture, you are one master 3d artist, or else you are really good with the camera... either way, those are some beautiful shots.

Looks nice Chris- now, where do you keep the curling tongs?

Nice pics, and well composed- you can see in the top one especially how much difference a small portable flash system makes though. Unless you're really lucky with the light it's very hard to replicate the sort of results you see published in mags like Autocar.

Yeah I gave up my Bachelor study for hair cutting!

That "almost like rendered" look is pretty much all due to the flashes fill light (and, of course, some fiddling with contrast [sky!] and colors).
I did notice however, that in that situation I would have needed more flash power. And that's not the first time. So yeah, a real porty system would have been nice - but massively oversized for what I do. Which means I'll stick with system flashes (I used a SB-600 for the picures). So I'm thinking abou getting me a SB-800 or a second SB-600. We'll see ...
