Moon Through Telescope

I was on business in Phoenix in 2004, and we went into the middle of the desert with the company for a Catered Party. There were stargazers there that would search the stars for you; picking out constellations to view, or the moon - or even mars through their telescopes. A friend of mine had the idea to press the lens of his camera to the eyepiece of the telescope to take pictures of these things...

So i decided to try my hand at it too - and this is what i managed to capture. I dare say, his turned out a little better than mine.. but some of the details are still stunning.
I apologize that the second one isn't exactly aligned - it's amazing how much moving a telescope a fraction of an inch by accident matters.

That is defenately one for the 'cool bord'

In life only 2 questions really matter: 'Who am I?', and 'Who do I want to become?'.
The answer to these questions is identical for both, but in different words.

Those look so great. My current telescope has a pretty rubbish tripod so the slightest little touch and its all over the place. Im hoping to get a nice heavy and sturdy one for christmas so i can get some good pics. I hope you dont mind, but heres a pic i took of the moon with my camera. You can see how high the cliff that runs along that mare is, as it is lit up, and the ground below is in darkness (the long wall, near the top of the moon along the terminator). The moon allways amazes me, and your photos are superb!

Note: I didnt take that pic with my telescope, thats why theres not much detail compared to your ones Alshrim
