but I for one find myself asking why you are covering up beautiful natural wood with ugly primer gray... a Wood Grain Galaxy would be so righteous.

Actually the saucer will be pretty easy compared to the complex shapes of the sec hull and nacelles, it's only challenge will be it's pure size LOL.

do you know anything about that nav light detail there? I haven't got this on my model but I think they might have added it to the generations model (I've got some refs of that taken at the recent auction if you haven't already got them)

This is just amazing... I can't wait to see it finished. And if you ever do a Nebula-Class, I will do anything on Earth (legal and otherwise) to get one.

BTW... will this be the good and beautiful D, that is based off of the TV 6-foot model, or will it be the way-too-overdetailed D from Generations?
