Ent D

I'm making a replica of the Ent D. It'll be cast in clear fiberglass and fully lit when finished. This is where I am so far on the initial sculpture. This will be the "Generations" version based on the large studio model, no raised hull plating.

Thanks for looking.

Looks like a great start but I wonder how long it´ll take this time until it gets headered.

Thanks, this will be a huge one but I'm looking forward to it. Thanks the the Christies auction pics I have lots of up close photo reference for it now, including close ups of the lifeboats and aztec pattern.

Here's another view, the curved pylons will be a seperate piece, I'm not sure if I'll detail it to where the saucer can seperate or not. Personally I like the battle section by itself so I don't know.

if you need any refs for this I saved all the ent-d christies pics when they were up here, and I can make some cross sections from my model if you need them, looks like you're beyond that stage already though

I pity the fool!

I've got ortho's of the hull patterns somewhere. Dave's model should be pretty much spot on for the aztecing.

I forgot you said you were going to make the Ent-D. You makeing in the same scale as the E? God, most remember how long it took you to make that one.
