And what's with the shear lack of tact and courtesy from you guys who do not like the idea? It’s not like no other physical models have been posted in this section before… Is it because it’s not a trek or BSG model idea? So what gives? I mean damn, are the “titles” of these forums so stringent in some of your eyes that you are saying there is no room for new ideas to be presented? Is a “title” that important? |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Personally I like it. Building physical models, in my opinion, takes more creative skill and talent than working in CG. And this has a very alien look to it that I like. And the fact it isn't still another Star Trek/BSG clone works for me too. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Atolm you do incredable concept drawings, and work in 2D which floors me. It's really nice to see something 3D from you as well. To hell with it that it's a physical model and not a mesh, from one program or another. Is it any less creative to do something that way? Long before CGI became the mainstay it now is, physical models were all that existed, and are still used today in the Film industry. We should be praising such work, becasue doing something like this is a talent not many have. That all said; I like the look of this... it has an alien quality about it, and yet something very graceful. It will be interesting to see what you do with the paint job |
