Alien Mask Sculpt Been doing some non CG work, getting my hands into some real sculpting, long time since I've done anything like this. Anyway started what will eventually become a latex mask of an Alien. Still in the very early stages, not got a complete design in my head yet but it may end up looking something like this Alien I made in Mudbox a while back. I'm sculpting this out of Newplast Plasticine over a polystyrene head shape.

Very 'First Men in the Moon'-ish. Is this to go with your moonship?

Not 100% sure what'll happen with it when it's done. I've ideas for a short SF film later in the year, if it's not too bad he might end up as a background character. Hey Sphinx, maybe he a Selenite who was away on holiday and when he gets back to the Moon he finds his entire race wiped out by the common cold.
