| Modified BOP What starts out as a simple modified BOP grows into a project that is making me stretch as a kitbasher. | Cireskul, I'd replace the wingtip-guns with K'Tinga-nacelles if you're going for a K'vort redesign. The K'vort is HUGE (approximately 350 meters), guns of that proportional size on a ship that big would be ridiculous! Plus most starships in Star Trek have warp-nacelles. Quote:
I had thought of an idea but never quite got around to drawing it up of a K'Tinga with it's wings swung-forward with a few design changes 1.) The D-7M's center-wing section is taller and wider in the front than in the back. I had tried to mirror this on my computer before and I saw this. To produce an effect more like an old Romulan-BoP which has forward swept wings, the best solution was to retain the heights at the front and aft, but change the widths to be closer to each other (front is still wider than aft) 2.) The hammerhead (and the ball shaped structure underneath that house the torpedo-tube) need to be scaled up a little bit as the K'Vort is 350 meters and the K'Tinga is 214 or 228 meters (Either way the torpedo tubes, fore and aft should be the same size, and I see no reason why the bridge should be bigger.) 3.) More streamlined nacelles -Nacelle-pod leading-edge swept aft (from top to bottom) -Nacelle-pod trailing-edge swept forward (from top to bottom) -Nacelle-design tapered (shortened a bit at the front and narrowed a little, heightened a bit in the middle, possibly widened, shortened a bit in the rear, narrowed down a bit over there) CuttingEdge100 | |

| CuttingEdge100 Thanks for the suggestions. However this is intended to be a regular scout class ship like the ST3 ship. It will be in the landed configuration with wings up like in the end sequence of ST3. I threw together some scrap parts to make my own version of landing gear; this is after all a kitbash so I have some creative license. I will post new pictures once I clean up some seams in my landing gear bays. |

| Sorry I took so long. Here is the latest. Its time foe a base coat to cover all the inner spaces before I continue assembly. Feedback welcome.
