Impressive, most impressive.

Definitely should send Nadab an email with pics once it's finished. I know he'd love to see it.

so i haven't been working on this model because i was not motivated enough. lately i have been wanting to start a new model and that made me pause and think for a moment. so i decided to actually put some effort and finally finish this model.

here's a few updates upto where i have stopped before:
i manage to paint it gray

after painting it there were a lot of scratches and bumps in the model and it is not the smooth finish i was looking for, so i ended up sanding and reputtying it untill i got most of the subtle lines from sanding it with a lower grit sand paper.

here are the most recent update: the model itself is now fully assembled and ready to be painted. the model itself weights over 3lbs (it looks like i didn't use enough foam) so i ended up using a plumbing tube to support the model.

right now i am looking for a nice stand i can display the model with. the model requires another major sanding and final reputtying and sanding. hopefully i can finish her up in the next two weeks. painting would be quite tricky and i am not using any decals.... which is still an option for me but i still have to design it. i am thinking of painting it by hand using the dots (stipulate) method from starshipmodeler website.

anyways

i will leave it to that for now.

cheers

rolly
