Hi, we're up to part 5 of the story.

Don't Stop Running

Characters

Gael – Protagonist, male civilian shuttle pilot.

Acacius – Protagonist, viper pilot and flight trainer, a member of the Colonial fleet.

Leobon Conoy - Antagonist, a humanoid Cylon . Initially a smuggler with a small shuttle.

Brother Cavil – Antagonist, humanoid Cylon.

Nadira – Young teen girl with visions due to Chamalla.

Aron – Young boy twin of Joshua has visions due to Chamalla.

Joshua – Young boy, twin of Aron has visions due to Chamalla.

Theben - Elderly man, has taken his retirement pension and bought an old Colonial Mover's ship called Hermogenese. Was Deck Chief on Galactica at the beginning of the Cylon War.
Settings:

Gennadius - Small fleet carrier, a small Colonial fleet craft built to operate a squadron of training spacecraft. FTL capable. Could possibly be a Defender with an attached flight pod.

Ragnar Achorage - Storage depot for the Colonial Fleet.
Hermogenes - Merchant ship, mass produced during the original Cylon war these simple ships have a single axis 440 ft. long, to which an array of electric impulse engines are mounted on a gimble at one end. The ship has cargo modules attached around the axis. A small office and cockpit account for the working space, and a few crew quarters, kitchen, and head(bathroom) account for living space. FTL capable

Eutropia – a small shuttle, FTL capable

Viper Mark 3- a two-seater viper trainer, FTL capable

Viper Mark 2 - Single seat fighter, not FTL capable

and for the Mark 3 two seater I thought it would like like the Mark 2 with a stretched cockpit, a single sliding window and one seat behind the other.

A couple of quick confirmations before I begin....

1.Are the vipers worn, aged or battle-damaged, or brand-new shiny vessels.

2.Gennadius-I know the defender class, but do you want it like the original-Defender, or something special?

3.Could I add some thin-gummy-wuts (ie, larger engine nacelles, etc) on the Viper Mk. III, in a sense that it has an FTL drive capability?

The Mark 3 that Acacius and Gael fly is a daily flyer so yeah. Dirty, singed, dented. For added FTL capability I would say that the actual drive would be hidden inside of the vehicle. But you could add say some antenna arrays on the hull of the vessel like on an Aegis cruiser.

The second is a labled ship, basically a "re-imagined" Defender. I took the basic twin nacelle design and tweaked it a bit, using Pegasus's hull as the "head". The launch tubes are at the sides and the landing bays are at the aft section (between the engine nacelles). Not very accurate to the defender because it was done without reference.

Reimagination-aka adding BSG-type flak turrets and Pegasus flight pod underneath the ship.
