Exactly Ravenwing, my same sort of problem! I still think Grim Futre is a cool name...... But keep the suggestions rolling. (Now this will sound very strange, I don't want the name to breach and copywrites despite the fact the models will )

PS; I mean it to cover the entire Warhammer 40k timeline aka Necromunda, Inquisitor, Battlfleet Gothic etc.

Reality is like a kick in the balls, you see something you like and WHAM.

After reading the copyright write up on their home page it seems as long as it is listed as a "fan art" site and each download has a disclaimer like sci-fi mesh used to have saying any download is only for the use of "fan art" we should be covered.

AKA,, ravenwing75

Excellent I wonder if they have "fanpage" toolkits like some of them do, it'd save a lot of effort i'm telling ya!

Well, now, that's where I can help! Not only can I get you fanart stuff, I have scanned versions of the codices in PDF format, ripe for the ripping. Maybe it's not five-way orthographic...but...yeah. Oh, and I think I have a pair, possibly even a trio of meshes (two being Termies, the other being a Blood Angel - he can, of course, be colored more properly later on!).

To the Marine speed freak over there, if you need help with website editing, I suggest you go look at http://www.htmlgoodies.com. But the site, while useful, isn't everything, and http://www.aplusfreeware.com has a lot of programming to help you with everything else. Personally, I use CSS Tabs to write my menus and Selida to assist me in writing my content pages.

Now, I've got a question. Since (usually) meshes are made up of multiple pieces, do you think it would be a good idea to, say, scan a picture of a sprue and then have it modeled? I think it'd be a great goof, personally. Now, as far as orthographic images, I found a great solution: search on Google!
http://images.google.com/images?q=si...+Witch+Hunters
That's for Witch Hunters.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/ may also have some source material.

And, finally I have an idea for a name - Immaterial Designs.

Why not ask Aceman to host the meshs and make a transparency layer with your 'group name' to put overlay on your avatars.

Sometimes the worst opponent is the one closest, yet ignorant of the truth.

This would probarbly be the better idea.
Keeping the team totaly within this site at least until we get it in motion.
This will mean we can concerntrate on throwing out quality mesh's instead of the coplications behind this sort of endevour.

As for the Games Workshop ip, my understanding is that you can do almost anything with the 40k universe, as long as you dont try to profit from it and it doesnt conflict with GW profits. As any meshs, renders or animations we make will either be for our own use or free to the public, I dont forsee any problems from that area. Thats the benefits of the artistic freedom that Gw provide

How about something to do with the S.T.C's?? (Standard template constructs) they seem very apt and are part of the 40k world. Making an interesting name out of it however is beyind my skills
