Well that works too. Ok heres how it goes. A vote, each person has three votes. 1, 2, 3. These are preference votes you apply one to each name.

STC
Immaterium Designs
Grim Future

They are all good names but my votes are =
STC: 3
Immaterium Designs: 1
Grim Future: 2

Curious Fact. (For those who didn't know it doesn't have to mean anything cool ID the makers of doom, well ID means Intranet Dashboard, doesn't get much geekier than that.)

Reality is like a kick in the balls, you see something you like and WHAM.

My Vote

BTW ,, Endymion, scanning the warhammer books into pdf can be said to breach copyright but I do like the idea of a 3d modelled sprue. Picturing something like a marine or other 40k figure chopping up the sprue with a chainshord as a logo maybe.

Also I like the idea of staying onsite as its a good way to get other modellers into it.

Yeah. Heck, you think you're bad? I found a mesh of a Marine and a Bolter. They're two separate meshes and I can't even get them to fit together. I like Immaterial Designs best, obviously - I did come up with it after all :-D.

Oh, and I just got a silly idea for some of the units/races, etc. I don't happen to have a copy of DoW or WA. I've played it on the LAN at my old school (don't ask, my teacher plays WH and 40K, got me into it. We play on Sundays, and anyone who's part of our school "family" can come). I thought it had some nice models for the Eldar. Haven't seen WA yet, but I've heard it's okay in that respect. Perhaps we could take our orthos from screens of that?

Just a thought.

Hi Id be interested in helping you out - Im old enuf to know that 40k original title was going to be "Rogue Trader" (add an `s and its not a bad title) - I dont know if thats old news or just plain common knowledge. Ive played all my life since it started upto the point when other pursuits started to be more of a draw - but Ive kept up a slight interest that was renewed with the arrival of the "Tau".

Im willing to help out on some modeling - especially Eldar (love those Harlequins(sic) and Aspect warriors), Tau and of course Marine stuff (let me do a Terminator suit palease) - and Ive done plenty of buildings and set work.

Hopefully you wont see me as too old for this - and if nothing else feel to ask for help if ever you should need any.

All the best

ST

ST, there's no such thing as too old - not for 3D stuff, and definitely not for 40K.

Oddly enough, I have an old Termie model laying around on my PC. When I say old, I don't just mean that the mesh is old. I mean that it's one of the tusked termies. Like the ones in Space Hulk.

Hey, I just came up with a really neat idea for an image/animation...Space Hulk. Somebody makes up a Hulk, we do interiors with decks and all...we get a Termie and a genestealer. Sounds fun!

Aye it does! Pity I can only do spaceships with any skill.

1:Steamtrooper the original Warhammer 40k was RogueTrader but I assume you live in the US where it was never released. At least I don't think it was.......
2: My dad is over 40 and plays Warhammer 40k there is no too old for it. (Perish the thought, even my mum plays 40k.)
3: Make whatever comes to mind! (A termie suit would be a good start though.)

Endymion, wth are Orthos? (btw I have both DoW and WA and can't wait for the new expansion either.)

Did up a quick post list of what I have already worked on and the marine has been rescaled and redone to fit a more muman frame for animation and looks. The landraider is taking a bit of time as Im doing the inside also and searching for ref images took some time for the driver chair n gunner lift.

Also got other ref material and projects but thought I would case show these first.. btw,, old = played the original Necromunda that had Inquisitor styled rules and Im sure that Inquisitor is just a re-vamp of that game

40K Batch 01.jpg 40K Batch textured test.jpg 40K Batch 02.jpg

Ps; the shield on the Earthshaker/Basalisk needs re-doing as it is off scale for how wide it should be but will be fixed soon.
