Excellent ravenwing I agree on the basilisk blast shield. Plus I still thing the lasguns on the Chimera need to be scaled down slightly. That SM looks cool without the arm armour don't e? I suppose it's now official, we are now Immaterium Designs!

Ravenwing, I only have one word for that - wow. The amount of work you've put into this shows. As far as interiors on the Land Raider go, oddly enough, I'd suggest you go take a look at Turn Signals on a Land Raider. It's a really funny webcomic about about a pair of Land Raider crew. In a few of the battle ones, there's some good interior shots (even though, yes, they're cartoon).

Cheers everyone didnt want to bring the average age upto high .Be aware that other than Tau, and a couple of vehicles I liked the look of, my knowledge of 40k is limited to pre - 1994 - ouchie! I do live only 1 min away from GW so Ill do some research. You might like to consider me a kind of time capsule of GW - buried in 1994 - yet to be opened. (Someone did drop a crisis suit through a hole in the capsule a year or two back though )Re: Terminator - Id be interested in seeing the mesh - Ive seen one online that was intended for use in Civilisation - cyan colour - and low low low poly. If by tusks you mean the respirator like bulges on the muzzle - yup they r the ones - Ive still got a box and a half of those from way back - and also an original landraider or two and some good old dreadnaughts. Out of interest there were a very few limited number terminators in blister packs even earlier than those ones - with realy flared trousers - I have one still I`ll try to look it up and take a picture - they have a more slumped over look with a kind of carapace backplate - I kept it and used it as a specialist light scout/stealth terminator - and they had ZERO weapons, not even a P-Glove. The Space Hulk type thing jibes well with me - ships, wrecks, aliens and hardcore boarding parties are a few of my fav things - Id be happy to work on a boarding/delivery shell for the marines/Terms - and even a new idea (to me anyways) - a Zero G Space Frame type Terminator.Kadaeux: Sounds like youd be an obvious choice for the external Ship stuff. Re: Rogue Trader - Ive still got the original hardback in suprisingly good nick as well (it was my second copy) - Rogue Trader is the subtitle - but once upon a time when first announced in White Dwarf the working title didnt even mention 40k - and there was to be a much more corporate theme to it. Say high to your mum n dad for me - if they ever went to GW downstairs in the broadmarsh Notts before the flood (no joke there was a major flood that meant lots of water damaged stock being sold at great prices) or even a Citadel Open day we might well have met - oh wait Ive just noticed your form Australia. Old=Necromunda - Pah! (only razzing you ) - the gangs werent even a twinkle in their daddies eyes while my Rhinos were roaming the barren plains on the moons of the outer spheres hunting down alien scum in the name of the emporer. I do seem to remember the birth of this game in White Dwarf but have never come across its new form I must admit - Ive just had a look and it seems to be Hive gangs ala Nemesis the Warlock, and ABC warriors, Termites - looks interesting.Sound like I have Terminator refs to find and a job to be getting on with .For Terminator Im thinking... Refs - Kev Walkers - Heads of Hectate - Imperial Rottweilers. - One of my old unbuilt terminators - modeled with no hands weapons - Might stick a Cyclone pack in as a plug in. Low poly - DOW version (are there already Terminators in DOW or WA - if so has anyone an example?) - if anyone has a decent Poly estimate for an ingame DOW unit It would save me a surf?. High Poly for Cut scenes and the giggles of it. Head modeled as Helmeted - but removable - so if anyone has a good Marine head with character It could be stuck on no prob. Any refs people have would be most appreciated - and any requirements for the unit let me know. Any suggestions? All the best everyone (and never ever ask me to model an Ork - I`ll take it as a personal insult).

Damn you I have to say it now. I apologise ahead of time.... Can ya model us an Ork? ![]() Yeah there are SM Termies (Assault and ranged) in DoW and WA, i'll get ya some screenies later. But no specific requirements for it. (Unless someone wants something specific for it?) The delivery method for Terminators onto a space hulk is the Shark assault boat or Thunderhawk Gunships. I'll make a low poly shark tonight to give you something to work with if you want? And some news for you all, I am going to be making a Starship Greeble Pack for us to use!! (I'll try anyway.) Endymion you sob, getting me addicted to that TSOALR. You are a mean mean person.

| ARGGGGGG!!! n. o. - never will my cursor be sullied by moving over the 2d or 3d image of an Ork - unless its to target a crak grenade or similar of course. So the Assault T`s- I take it they have Lightning Claws - and I cant recall wat they called them but Flame pistols and Twin Bolt pistols? anything else? Ranged - Cyclone missile Packs? anything else ? Las Cannon, Hvy Bolters/Storm bolters etc? Im not even sure wat the new (if there are new ones), Terminator design is like - wat Ive seen on the net seems to be prety much the standard design with a few twiddles and flourishes. When I still played a lot and when Terminators were brand new they were delvered onto Hulks via a High velocity heavily padded assault Torpedo - I still like the prinicple - its fast and in a firefight prety undetectable - but I guess more organised, less rushed, sorties it would stand to reason that theyd have a dropship/assault ship type setup - Ive seen the Thunderhawk but Im not a big fan of it - too clunky looking - Id love to see some picks of the shark - in fact Im off to surf them down now ![]() Ill try to keep my posts shorter in futre - soz. | Its fine with me, the more issues etc that can be addressed at once the better. You most likely won't find much about the shark, 2 I forgot about the boarding torpedos. As for Termies. Assault Squads mount lightning claws or Thunderhammers with shield. No ranged weapons at all (anymore) Standard Termies, Storm Bolter and Powerfist or Chainfist, Assault Cannon, heavy flamer and the cyclone missile launcher. (The Cyclone isn't in DoW though ) |
