Thanks mate..

I added some things and changed the lighting and materials to help the contrast a bit..

Thoughts?

By the blood of the emperor, did ID have problems, me being one of them,
And i apologize for that.

We just moved and i was offline for the better part of 2 months.
I was also involved in other projects at the time.

I think maybe a flash site isn't needed for what we are trying to do though, I'm an excellent html programmer, flash....not so much.In about another month i should have the site updated to a much more simple design thats will have an upload function.

On the bright side i may be going to school again, might go to gnomon or something like that, take some refreshers....get into maya and possibly illustration.

nice model btw

Hi ppl,

i just finished reading this thread all the way from the start and I am trully amazed by the things you do here. I`d really like to join your team. First of all I need to say that my english is not perfect so expect some mistakes in spelling, grammar and so on. I am from Czech republic. So now that I introduced myself I`ll get to business. I am working with 3d Studio max on a space marine. The only reference which i`ve got sofar is photos of the bitz from the bitzbox website - there are only front views and some pictures of models hanging on the web. Unfortunately noone takes pictures of his models in "ortho" style. Could someone post some orthos of a model or the bits of a space marine? When I get home I`ll post what i`ve got sofar from my space marine. I am a beginner in 3d and I would really like to learn some stuff here. Thx for support.

Welcome to the Forums. What you have so far looks pretty good. One thread you may want to check out is Binkerman's Space Marine thread in 3d Wips. He's doing some awesome stuff in there. Keep at it budilm.

Welcome aboard matey,

I'll leave it at that for now as I could easily post 300-400 images....

EDIT: The top picture is old and mostly out of date. (All the weapons and most of the labels.)

Hello, I have just joined this site and instantly looked for warhammer 40k. I am happy to find a group and would be glad to make some ork models on my own time. I am in high school and take college classes so I I have little time. I am a custom modeler who amkes my own ork vehicles.
I cant do organic creatures or anything that needs to be boned though as I am a begginer. I will probably just pop up with the odd model and comment on others though as I am a loner and don't like any heavy ties.

Any one want a cool looking space cruiser? I have been making a good quality model in my spare time and it just needs finishing touches. I also use 3ds max as that is probobly relavent. I am a self learner so I am kind of newbish in modeling. Will upload my model by Friday.

Sweet, we're not a "strict" team, more of a modelling club really. And trust me, i've been modelling for a few years now and you're not the only one unable to do organic modelling.

Can you post some pics of the cruiser?
