A mod based on the Warhammer 40000 universe

Hello everyone,
I'm Inaith, lead coder of bf40k a total conversion mod based on the Warhammer 40000 universe using Battlefield 2 and 2142 engine.
If you want to see our work you can take a look at our website here or if you're just curious about the warhammer 40000 universe you can go there
Our aim (a bit idealistic I admit due to some engine limitation ) is to retranscribe as accurately as possible the tabletop game (maybe BFG if we have enough models...) with of course regards toward teamplay(bf2/2142 is one of the best online teamplay game if it's not the best ) and gameplay(that's more subversive there ).
We are a medium sized team( about 20 people working hard actually with 10 modellers/uvmapper/texturer/animator) but we are still working for artist (modellers/uvmapper/texturer/animator) so if you want to lend a hand (I understand that modding seems to be a restrictive because of some constraints but constraints are fixed regarding the skills and wishes of each modder ).
Anyway if you want to lend a hand without entering in the team (if you have a good model without any use for instance), you could contact me(of course you'll be named and the work still belongs to you, we are educated you know ) at my personnal msn adress jeremyjouin@tele2.fr or start a thread in our forum
Here is very few samples of our work :

Thanks for your attention
Inaith

Would you like to give us an idea of compensation (payment/no payment).

Ah I see.
Unfortunately for you, modding is a free activity, we aren't an enterprise, we spent time voluntarily to give satisfaction to everyone. The only (I think lean for a guy who want to get paid) compensation you can have is an add to your portfolio, I've cited myself as a coder being a part of this modding team when I passed my job interview at Nexar (creators of Ryzom) when they asked me for previous experience in the video gaming world and it works with them.
Some of our modellers have the game and like the way to play their models too or have positive feedback from the community.
Some lend models just because there is no other use than rendering too.
Ah we have special rights so we are among the first to have free beta test key for battlefield games when they release (for instance we haven't wait for 1 week to participate to the bf2142 beta test last august) but that's the only "material" compensation you can have (you just need to wait for the next battlefield release to see that so you'll have to wait a bit, lol)
To sum up, you won't get paid for the hand you can give, that's the definition of the modding term : "Modify a video game content with several new features for free" or it'll be called an add on....
