Opportunity Knocks: Our Universe Needs Gifted 2D Artists!

Hello all you 2D Maestros.

We are working on a very interesting project and would like to meet with a talented, motivated, mature 2D artist.

Some friends and I have a working game that needs some atmosphere and soul. The funkier the better.

We are a mature, hard working group from several different countries. We have coders (game code and net code for remote play), modelers (<---- see my avatar), texturers, renderers and riggers/animators. There are members of our team who work in the computer gaming industry.

The game is not a mod. We already have the game code working and the game is essentially in a very early alpha stage. The fact that we have a working game separates us from many non-commercial game projects.

All we need now is some good concept art to inspire us. We have a number of 3D modelers who are looking for someone with artistic vision and an interest in SF art.

The game is intended to be freeware once it is done and we are doing it for experience. Once we prove we can do it, we will likely try a commercial game.

It would be a very good showcase for someone who would like their art to be displayed both in 2D forms (for example on our website or in-game cut scenes) and in 3D form (models and in-game environments).

A completed project would be a fantastic addition to a resume for someone who would like to break into the gaming industry or even movies as an artist.
