Detailed Anatomical Models

I'm posting this under project recruitment and not under the others because I need the person who creates the models to use them for a number of projecets.

So currently I'm looking for anyone who's willing to work on a project for a photorealistic anatomical model, one male and one female.

E-mail me at
CuttingEdge001@hotmail.com (001 not 100)

Helen,

A little more detail around what the models are going to be used for might get you more responses, as would rewording your "request" to be a little more polite as it reads a little bit like a demand at the moment!

and you should mention, what's the reward for the modeller. right now, this looks like a ton of work for not even an apple and an egg.

Depending upon what you want to use this for CuttingEdge, you may also want to look at the MakeHuman project. Originally it started as a Blender plugin, but now its a free standing application.

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.

Try Dedalo-3d.com, but I think that it links straight back to the original development website anyway, which was Dedalo-3d.com.

[edit] OK, that sentance looks stupid because the link engine has replaced my text with the title of the underlying webpage - which is the same in both cases. Just click those links, but the first one was www[dot]MakeHuman[dot]org.

I did not intend to phrase my request as a demand. If I offended anyone, I apologize. I have downloaded make-human.

So it turns out, I'm quite lousy at it actually and am not able to actually make use of it as I have no rendering engine. However I do thank those who suggested I downloaded it. It is a nice program -- I'm just not the best 3D artist, and it doesn't have as much flexibility as I'd like.

If I could give you facial pics of what I wanted just a facial 3D-model to look like, could you guys actually make it look realistic?

I'm not sure I can offer any money-- I'm kind of financially strapped for the time being. I suppose if I stumble on a bunch of money, I'd probably consider forking over some cash to those who helped me out.
