Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead

Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead is a fanfic series chronicling the adventures of the Nebula-class starship USS Farragut and her crew. I have a website up at Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead, which holds no real information, but makes use of 2cvbloke's Farragut in Drydock (with his permission, of course).

There is, unfortunately, no cash payment. The only rewards I could offer are a free coppermine site to use as your own for hosting images of your other projects without having to resort to a free and ad-heavy site to do so, and of course, notoriety within the fanfic community (not much, I'll admit).

What I'm looking for:

* Beauty shots of the Farragut
* Blender/Poser shots of the characters (for biographies)
* Scene shots of the Farragut using the descriptions from the fiction in question as reference.

Given the nature of writing, I honestly don't expect this to be a high-involvement project as the majority of time spent will be on the writing. Thus, you would have the first drafts to work from. My release rate can be as high as 2 per month, or as low as 1 per two months depending on how much free time I can scrounge up with work's ebb and flow.

I will take my beatings from Raj and Al and Andrews, along with whomever else wants to make fun of me. I know trying to get something for nothing has consequences, so please, have at me.

Thanks for reading,

Actually your request is quite good, and afterall you are requesting just some renders (better than asking ILM style animations!)...
I wish you good luck with your project.

Cheers

Thank you, namaste and good luck www.jagthesite.com____Ramielarium____My Blog!

The first episode has been completed, and the second one is halfway finished with the first draft. I'll keep plugging away and hope for the best.

Alternatively, if someone would like to teach me to render, I will always appreciate instruction in lieu of just rendering.

what soft are the models made in?

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

No models. It's fanfic. 2cvbloke was kind enough to do a 3DS render for me, which I did use.

I have blender (free), and I'm getting poser for the character models. I thought I had lightwave, but it turned out not to be what I thought it was (and talk about buyer beware ).

I could help you by making a nebula class ship in sketchup, not very detailed though, because the details made in sketchup may not be as good in a another application, but i can then export it to some format you need.
If you don't need it right away i think i can make a low detail one in few days(3-4) because of exams and stuff:|.
