Conversion artist Desperately Needed

Hey guys,

We really need to get this mesh into Max format, currently it is in LW:

We are unable to render the scene without the mesh, so we are sort of stuck right now...

Good luck ZeeverFett, i've been lookinf for someone to make convertion of my models for almost 6 months..seems people are very good at begging here, but not good at helping when it comes time to.

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

If you have both LW and Max, not a problem - export to OBJ and import in max. Usually works just fine. I only have max, but i sometimes use OBJ to switch a mesh to earlier versions if needed for some reason.

The more complex the model, the less chance of this working just fine. Also, textures may well not make the move over unless they are just bitmaps, often requiring a complete set of new textures. I did a quick conversion of Tobian's station from LW to Max and there were a lot of small mesh errors in the converted file despite the model being remarkably clean in LW.

Personally I don't have the patience to do it, but I hope you find someone who will. Accutrans 3D has a free trial period and will get you most of the way there whilst limiting mesh errors, but you will still need to do some tidying as it's not perfect

If the textures are not too complex, I could give it a try.
