Arrow The Bringers of Light TC mod for GalCiv2 is STILL looking for a texturer!!

The Bringers of Light is a massive TC for Galactic Civilizations II Twilight of The Arnor! We have people who can work on all aspects of the mod besides texturing!
Most of the models have been created by Edward Ladner, an amazing 3d artist. Right now we really need a texturer to finish his ships.
if you have time and would like to help out, please respond to this thread!

-Dave

Sorry mate I can't personally help you but it might help your case if you post somewhat more information on whats required and the mod itself.

For example, I know the working title as its written there but nothing else.

This isn't very informative, we have no link to take a look at what you've done and acheived or even what the subject matter is.

I can think of a several science fiction verses that could fit the description "Bringers of Light" including one that would make it a TC about a Satanist group!

Also here we like screenshots if its just a texturejockey type job, what needs texturing show us!.

Another common one is "whats in it for us?" is it just our name/username in a readme containing the credits?

If you can answer these questions then you're halfway there! (The other half is naturally a texturer either deciding to help you or people posing more specific questions about the mod that can aid they're decision.)

For example, with what info you've made avaliable (even if I could texture) I wouldn't sign on with you, simply because I know nothing except the name, what you're modding and that you claim to have a crack team of modders. (Not saying you're lying.) This doesn't tell me what i'm supposed to texture, what universe its from (assuming its not an original universe) or what "sort" of textures you need in what sizes.

Nice, but one question of most importance to myself (though I cannot help you) what "universe" is it, an orginal? Anime? Wing Commander, etc. (Though I seriously doubt it's windg commander.)

everything in the mod is completely original. the main purpose of the mod is to bend the game to it's extreme limits.

That's a valid point. For me, you can ask the guys at I-Mod-Productions or look at some of my forum posts on the GC2 site. In fact, one modder once told me that he used an old version of my mod (which was a smaller project i worked on alone) to figure out how to make some cool stuff (he wasn't specific as to what he learned though) and that's about it. You may have heard of Macmatt. His record speaks for itself. he's come out with many of his own conversions for GC2 and anyone on I-Mod-Productions or the GC2 site (anyone who's tried his mods) would vouch for his modding greatness. Edward Ladner, the 3d artist, you can definately see from that previous shot and that link, that he's really good. Our weapon fx guy is Stefan Gersdorf, the creator of all the weapon fx for GC2, so that's enough of a reason to call him amazing.

I'm not exactly sure what i could offer a texturer in return besides being mentioned in the credits...and maybe a thank you in the intro video, but i'm sure we could work something out...me, you, and Ed.

Here's another screen

This one's got a huge solar cannon on the front
