Help Wanted - Looking for Artists (and writers)

Hello,

My name is CJ, I'm the founder of a project to develop a browser game (Text based PHP game). I am aware this is a 3d forum, and my project doesn't quite fit this area, but there any many very talented people here who I figured might be interested in doing some 2d work as well (Or just making screen shots of 3d at certain angles). Heres from information on the project. (Just FYI, we have a programmer)

Game Information:
The games name is Global Reign, it is MMO text based browser game written in PHP/MySQL (As well as XHTML, CSS, & Javascript). The time line will span a period of from around the middle ages through planet colonization. Each player will have a faction and a government they choose at registration which will have pro's and con's. We will also be adding as many features as we can to the game, and once the game is live plan on adding additional features the playing community requests. Global Reign is going to be quite a large game. There will be at least one server that general public will play on, and the game progression is will take the player somewhere between 6 months to a year.

Heres some of the features, many we are not making public yet:
-It will involve the research of technology, building of structures, production of units, and creation of defenses.
-Players will control their own territory, as they progress they will be able to colonize others areas, including space.
-Players will be able to attack other players, as well as defend (more then just fight back when attacked, but sending units to intercept the attack).
-There will be exploration, trade, build in clan management, as well as many many features.
-There will be game stats (probably updated nightly)
-Finally we hope to hold contents with some prizes based on how well a player does.
-Many, many, more features not stated

Goals:
In the end we want to develop a game played by thousands of users. A game heavily influenced by the community that plays it, administrated by the team of people who made it. We want to have fun, enjoy ourselves while we make it as well as once its done.

Below is a description of what the job entails:
Artists:
We want to have an image for each technology, structure, unit, and defense that can be made in the game. There will be about 400 technologies, probably over a thousand when you include the structures, units and defenses. We want to either have a unique image for each, or a generic image for certain groups with a different color for each faction. This will also depend on how many artists we can find who want to work on the project. We also need several additional website layouts for the game itself. We want the main site and the game to have different templates. There are also many more images that need to be created for all different features of the game, as well as any concept artwork.

Writers:
We need a full background story. That is we need someone to write about the game itself and its progression, as well as the story leading up to the game, before the player's timeline begins. We also needs people to help with names of each technology, structure, unit, and defense as well as a snippet of text for each. It would be a plus if you can add a comic element to any/all the writing for the game, but it isn't a necessity. Writers will have a large amount creative freedom, so long as it fits the theme of the game.


Compensations:
The is no monetary compensation, at least not at this point. We can offer web hosting, or possibly bartering services. Possible compensation at a later date from any profit from the game
