Sensei Challenge 4 - Post your final entries!

Use this thread to post your final entries into the 4th Sensei Challenge (XMas 2006). Please do not post ANYTHING else in this thread - this thread is here to allow everyone (including the judges) to see all of the entries in a clear, unadulterated form.

You should attach your final render in your post - though you may, if you wish, also place a link back to your WIP thread for people to look at your past progress and maybe comment on your work. Viewers - please do not comment on the work in this thread.

I am leaving this thread open until my first logon on Saturday morning, so everyone has the chance to use what most people would call 'Friday' to get their entry in.

After my logon however, the thread will be closed and no more entries can be accepted - even if you are not 100% finished, get your entry in anyway! Remember that as well as the Challenge award icons, there is also a cash prize for the first three places, so don't miss out!

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.

Far from home

Here we have a lonely mining operation far away from Earth in a foggy asteroid belt decorated for Christmas, as it makes them feel like back on Earth. They use limited equipment to construct a simple holiday decoration floating around their base that was inserted into an asteroid.

Not too far in the future, an unexpected leap forward in the global warming progress flooded most of earths landmass within 15 years. This catastrophe was however, well planned for, and cities in the ocean where constructed, and colonies on the moon and orbiting the earth where established with the forming of the Global Coalition of Earth. Thus, life goes on and thrives.

Here is one of the ocean cities on the 24th december, with a transport ship on finals bringing christmas goods like mail and relatives coming to vist loved ones on christmas as well as gifts the residents have ordered from the cities on the moon. The lone dock-master prepares for the securing and unloading of the transport while a winter storm begins to hail down.

Good luck everyone, i had great fun while doing this and watching other peoples WIPs

Even there, on the mining clony, deep in space, they still like to celebrate Christmas. And you know, there always is CocaCola company and their Trucks that will celebrate it with You!

In the future, there are no holdidays celebrated around this time, as humanity has dropped religion due to all the wars and violence it has caused in the past. A robot stumbles across a reference to something called a christmas tree in the databanks, and tries to revive the tradition. Also in this bleak future there are no tree left, but geneticists have created a hologram of what they believe trees looked like. As you can see there are imperfections in the hologram.

Far away on a distant cold and dark outpost, humans still celebrate the centuries' old traditions of the holiday season, including the decoration of a Christmas tree imported from all the way from Earth.

Well, that's it...No more, no more.

Thread closed - we start judging in the next few days.

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.
