I never came across a Trek 3d graphic novel. so this should be intresting to see.
What era do you plan to sit it?
I never written a comic/ Graphic novel, but the is always a first time.

Heres the blurbs for the first 5 episodes (i plan on 20 episodes a season)

1.01 “New Dawn” Part One

The year is 2381. The USS HORIZON an Interceptor Class Starship designed to respond to any threats against the Federation. . . .

Captain Marcus Draven has assembled his crew from the best and brightest that Starfleet has to offer.

Now, their fist mission is to investigate a distress signal from Starbase 181.

When the Horizon arrives they find the Starbase destroyed by what appears to be BORG weapons. But as the crew investigates the remains, they find that the destruction of Starbase 181 has wider consequences for both Starfleet and the entire Federation. . . .

1.02 “New Dawn” Part Two
Overview

The year is 2381. The USS HORIZON an Interceptor Class Starship designed to respond to any threats against the Federation. . . .

The shocking news of the betrayal by a close friend causes Captain Marcus Draven to reevaluate his entire Starfleet career.

But when a Federation Colony is attacked and the New Dawn claims reasonability. Captain Draven is driven to put the past behind him and to annihilate the New Dawn threat before it tears the Federation apart. . . .

1.03 “Lost Prophet”

The year is 2381. The USS HORIZON an Interceptor Class Starship designed to respond to any threats against the Federation. . . .

Starfleet sends the Horizon to Deep Space Nine to provide security at a secret meeting of Starfleet and their Allies to discuss the New Dawn Threat.

Meanwhile a chance encounter on the station stirs up an old wound for Lt. Com. Jem Inara and sends the crew on a mission to uncover the truth behind a family secret. . . .

1.04 “Echoes”

The year is 2381. The USS HORIZON an Interceptor Class Starship designed to respond to any threats against the Federation. . . .

During a routine escort mission the crew of the Horizon responds to a distress signal from a Romulan Bird of Prey. When the Horizon arrives at the coordinates they find no trace of the Romulan Vessel.

Now the crew of the Horizon must race against time to find and save the Romulan Crew before the Horizon also becomes lost in the void. . . .

1.05 “I See Q”

The year is 2381. The USS HORIZON an Interceptor Class Starship designed to respond to any threats against the Federation. . . .

While on a recon mission for Starfleet intelligence, the crew of the Horizon is suddenly transported to a world where they must defend an old nemesis of the Federation who claims to have vital information about the New Dawn

But with a Q whose abilities have been rendered useless and a Civilization hell bent on destroying their false God, it will take more then illusions and lies to get the crew of the Horizon out of this situation. . . .

ALSO if there are people who would like to help with the writing but dont have any comic writing experiance thats cool as long as you have some sort of creative writting background.

The first five stories look interesting. Do you have a “Bible” of the all the main charters and how and what the New Dawn are?

I don't want to be a moany michael but if you want some advice start on the first story one first and see how you go. There are a lot of people who come through here who want to produce a full 45 minute star trek show and burn out when they realise how enormous it is, I've never understood why they don't try for a 5 minute short just to cut their teeth. You're idea is a little more realistic and more acheiveable, but still start small, get an idea for the size of the task and go from there. I'll be watching to see how you do with the interceptor mesh (aw my baby)

That's cool if you have worked on something like this before, do you have any examples of it out there.

I'm not too sure on the runabout front. If i thought it was going to used i might do it up but i have been a bit disappointed with how much the interceptor has been used, loads of downloads a handful of images.

Start your work, post a few examples and if your serious about it all I might do the runabout for you.
