OK, have thinked thats your Recon-Raptor. He has removed my Work now, so its on the Saff of SFM now what to do with the others they are still there. I have explained him in a PM that posting foreign Artworks without proper Credits are inacepptable, so i hope he hase understood it.

EDIT: Think the Case is closed now, he has my permission now to use my work with correct Credits for his Galerys.

I just want to thank everyone here, and Animaniac in particular, for doing everything they can to protect our work. I haven't very active lately (well, not active at all, when it comes down to it). It really means a LOT to me that people here take our work seriously enough to defend it.

I´m glad to hear that, this wild using of uncredited foreign Artworks must be stopped where ever it´s possible. Finaly the Guy has understood and removed all unauthorized Work from his Site.

Looking at some of these avatars makes me wonder if there is a double standard in play in regards to stealing the intellectual property of corporations.

Well, it's not like we're saying the avatars are ours. Just little, fun, entertaining spoofs to forums so it's not all just text, plus helps the brain burn in who is posting, so instead of reading the name, BOOM, oh, three Vipers, that Mitchell, that jerk XO

The actual law is that if (just to use an example that struck me) Kevin Smith does not in writing grant permission to use his characters, the use of such characters is in violation of copyright law and an infringement on Mr. Smith's (if he hasn't sold those rights to another party or person, then it would an infringement on them.) Now I doubt Kevin Smith would care that his characters are used in an avatar for a forum board. However, the message seems to be that it's allowable to steal the intellectual property from corporations or celebrities, but it's not allowable to steal intellectual property from individuals, especially forum members. Why do you allow one and not the other?
I'm not asking that the avatars be changed, I could care less. But you guys should at least be aware of what you're doing.

Furthermore, I believe the reason may be rooted in collectivist ideology which doesn't recognize property rights at all, or at least some and not all. Some people may believe that once something is uploaded to the internet it becomes public domain to be shared and used however one sees fit.
