Battlestar Helios

I've done it again. This may be the death of me, but on August 1, I will be releasing something alongside Warp Gate 0012. Battlestar Helios is as you know, a Galactica fanfic series. Here's the synopsis.

- Synopsis -
A newly completed battlestara and its crew, are in the right place, at the right time, and avoid being destroyed by the Cylon attack on the twelve colonies. The crew of the Helios, find a large convoy of ships, moving with the Battlestar Galactica. They decide to pursue it, and stay alive, fighting the Cylons, and trying to reunite themselves with the survivors of humanity.

Hopefully you'll like this. Again, it can all be seen at The Sci-Fi Network
August 1, will be so busy for me, and I have a feeling these two series', are going to be the death of me. So, here we go.

All my science fiction stories and works, among others, can be found at,

I am posting here to notify you that "Battlestar Helios" is my intellectual property copyrighted to the Battlestar Helios RPG.

Battlestar Helios was created and went online at YahooGroups in May 1999 and I have owned the registered domain rights to BattlestarHelios.com for the past 7 years.

Please rename your fan-fic series. A Google search will bring up multiple entries referencing my group and my website.

Very Nice from you that you use my Ori-Fighter at your Website, with no Credits or any other word that this is NOT your work, but with "Author: Cameron Mitchell" Correct this!
Edit: I´m shure the Deadalus that you present at your Site as "Author Cameron Mitchell" is also not your Work.

Also claiming copyright and IP when you are working within something where IP and copyright already exist is not exactly true now, is it? If the BSG owners heard you saying that you owned IP that is derivative of their IP then they would sick their lawyers on you pretty ****ing sharply... If you have created your own RPG rules then the rules may be counted as your IP, but using BSG as the backdrop means that all of your art and content is actually under the general IP ownership for BSG

In fact you (or your associates) are using Davide Sandonà's renders on your Stargate sister site with incorrect copyright here . Did you get permission to use these images?

Think not, he has cuted away the Credits of my Original-Picture. There a lot of foreign Galactica-Meshes, WJaspers, AldrikG, and others, all without Credits and given as Author Cameron Mitchell.

I guess he doesn't have permission to use Apollo in his ship crew roster, or to use the pictures of other celebrities as characters in his RPG

Image credits are on most of the images on our site. Those which were left off have been corrected and thank you for pointing out the mistake made when recoding the site.

I have also corrected the coding error which had the credit for the AURORA mesh not displaying, I use the ContentPlus module for phpNuke and had made a code error when creating the page which resulted in that part of the content not displaying properly. I was unaware of my code error until it was brought to my attention and I have corrected it and verified that the information now is displaying properly.

All comments at the end of content pages relating to copyright BattlestarHelios such as on the information for ships and such is automatically added by the phpNuke script. It is not a claim of copyright on the material and merely a feature of the script which we have no control over.

All copyright material has been disclaimed at the bottom of the phpNuke page, giving full credit to Glen A. Larson for the creation of Battlestar Galactica and to Sci-Fi.com

I am not making any claim to owning anything to do with Battlestar Galactica. I do make claim to the use of Battlestar Helios for fan-fiction purposes and to the original storyies and characters created by our group and our members. Original characters and their histories belong to the creator/player within the group. The request is made simply as a courtesy to not use an established fan fic group name for a new online series. As all of you are rightfully proud of your accomplishments, the members of our group are rightfully proud of ours. I have had members of the group emailing me about the proposed new fan fic series with concerns..thus the request was made.

The DAEDAULUS image posted at BattlestarHelios.com was created using 3DMax by me, using the Cygnus mesh posted by backstept and is credited as such, as were all of the images using that mesh. I edited the cygnusnameplate.jpg file using Photoshop to place the name of each NPC vessel within the game on the corresponding image. Credit is on the images, and it's also added as a footer to the individual pages with links back to Scifi-Meshes.com

If any other errors are noted at either The Battlestar Helios RPG or at www.stargate-sidhe.com regarding mesh images posted there - please email me at postmaster@battletarhelios.com and let me know so I can correct the error.

I should have stated my IP claim more clearly.. I'm claiming the stories, and character created by our members as our property to the group. Our members created it, our members created the stories and as such it is our IP. For instance, the character of Rhea Kydalla is my creation.. the character of Jayde Harks is her author's creation and so on.

I mentioned the site as evidence that we've been around a long time, and we don't want someone else using the same name and riding on our work, any more than the artists who created the mesh files shared here want someone taking credit for their hard work.
