Exodus Part 1
Chapter 1
Complete silence, it would have to be the most rarest thing to come across in the universe. They all knew why they just didn’t know if it would last.
March 24th 2235 0930
“Mr President” said the man in the front of the car.
“Please call me James”
“We’re here Mr President”
The president sighs as he gets out the car and steps onto the path. He straightens his jacket and heads towards the podium, which has been placed in the middle of the oval. The sky was blue, the trees were green and the birds were singing. It was a perfect day. A man announced that President James Morianna was about to speak. The humans of Pryden fell silent as he stood at the microphone.
North Calden Military Base, Calden
Robert Lancaster and Elliot Conway are playing poker behind The Exodus. You could tell one of them was having a good day from the smirk on his face. “aghh come on Robert you’ve just won the past 7 poker games, can I go now? I think you have won enough money from me for one damn day”.
“Alright fine ill see you tomorrow then”. Elliot goes to grab his jacket when an alarm suddenly goes off on the base.
The president began his speech “People of Pryden. Today is a brilliant day for all who lives under the code of the Federation Empires. Just hours ago I got a call from the scientists at ERC (Explosives Research Centre) telling me that…that…” The president pauses. His jaw dropped as he looks up “ no…no…not today…it’s to late. The look on his face was enough to scare anyone; it was as if he had just seen a ghost. Fire began to reign down from the sky making the sky look like it was exploding. People started to panic and run to their homes. Innocent people were getting crushed if they weren’t keeping up with the panicked crowd. Huge Cruisers began to appear threw the flames. Missiles were flying everywhere, into buildings, creating massive craters in the ground. People where dying left right and center and there was no power that the Pryden people had that could stop them. If only they attacked hours later there may have been a different result.
General Lancaster and Captain Conway ran onto the Exodus, only problem was that neither of them knew how to fly it. “Where the hell is Emerson?” said the general. “He should be in his bunk I’ll go get him”, Elliot Conway ran over to the bunks to get Dean Emerson when the enemy fighters rained hell on the military base. The captain continued to run to the bunks trying to avoid the explosions around him. Just as he went to open the door he felt a hand touch his shoulder. He grabbed the hand and flipped what ever it was over his head and to the ground. It was Dean who was now lying on the floor in pain. “**** sorry Dean come on man were under attack we need to get the Exodus in the air now”.
The Exodus took off with full power heading towards the capital city, well what was left of the capital, as there was nothing left except rubble. “General what do we do” said dean
“My…wife…. and kids…their gone….”
“You don’t know that for sure they could have escaped on one of the transport ships”.
“Who the **** are these bastards anyway,” said Elliot
Just then The Exodus began to take fire from the enemy ships. The general had no choice but to order Dean to fly the ship into space and abandon Pryden and head to the “The Diviner”, which was currently on the planet, called Blackthorne.
If they could make it there then they could tell them of the attack and to help search for survivors and come up with a plan. Dean was one of Pryden’s best pilots and managed to break away from the enemy fighters and fly away from the planet.
Mean while on the planet…
“Max…are you there”
“Do you want to get caught Mr President” yelled Max in a quiet way.
“Sorry I’ve never been in a situation like this, is there anyway we can get off this planet before its annihilated”.
“ If we get to Calden Air-Force Base we might be able to fly out of here, or we could go to the military base and take our chances with the AS-6 (Code-Named The Avenger)”
Max Reynolds who was an eager marine and the President managed to get to the Air-Force base seeing it was closer then the Military base, but all that was left was a burning crater.
“God damn it!!! Bastards!!!” screamed Max.
“Its ok Max we could always try getting to the military base”
“Its most likely to be a crater as well”
“Well we have to keep moving or they will catch us…aarrgghh!!!”
Blood splattered across Max’s face as James fell into his arms. Max lowered the president’s body to the ground with his weapon and knelt to the ground while putting his hands on his head.
“I surrender”.
Chapter 2
As the days went on more and more people kept getting slaughtered. It was only a few people that had managed to escape the wraith from which these things had brought down on the people of Pryden. Only a hand full of people had managed to survive…for now.
The Exodus
Celerin Region, Phoenix Galaxy
“Hey Dean” said Elliot
“Hey”
“Are we on course for The Avenger?”
“Yeh, we should arrive at Blackthorne within maybe 6 to 7 hours…*sigh* just think we may be the only living people from Pryden left, well besides the crew of The Avenger”
“Yeh…the generals not doing so good, he thinks his family is dead…I mean they could have got off the planet on one of the transport ships”
“Yes but they attacked from every where, we’re lucky to be alive let alone anyone else”
“All right well I might get some sleep, you should as well…. just put the ship on autopilot, goodnight”.
Elliot went down to the beds on the 1st level while Dean decided he would go off to find the general to see how he was coping with the possible death of his family.
“Hey Gen you alright”
“Turn around right now and leave this room,” said Robert
Dean knew when to walk away from the general when he was in a bad mood, and this was one of those moments so Dean decided to head back to bed when the proximity alarm went off. Dean sprinted down the corridor where he met up with Elliott.
“What the hell are we at Blackthorne already” said Elliott
“We still have at least another six hours before getting there”
“Maybe it’s The Diviner”
“No it can’t be they would have showed up on the radar, no this is something else and their closing in, we should make it to Blackthorne before they catch up to us, wait a minute The Diviner should be showing up on the radar on the planet but its not…”

The Diviner
The Diviner was under attack by a cruiser, it looked much like the ones that attacked Pryden. The pilot was attempting to avoid the missiles. The Diviner had been hit to many times and its shields had failed. The pilot swung the plane around a mountain only to get hit by a missile head on. The whole front half of the ship went up in flames as it began to spin towards the ground.
The Diviner was big enough to carry around 2000 people on board including women and children. The crews mission was to find an un-habited world, which could be habitable so they could start up a new colony there. Blackthorne was a perfect place; much like earth was back in the year 2212 before The Sentinels destroyed it. The Sentinels were an evil race of machines, which wanted nothing more, but to destroy everything that moved. Luckily enough the planets under the Federation Empires managed to kill off this evil enemy 7 years ago before they destroyed them all. Many planets under the FE Code had been destroyed including Earth, Mars, Borallus and the moon Deimos.
Chapter 3
The Exodus arrived at Blackthorne in geosynchronous orbit above the planet.
“The Diviner this is the Pryden ship Exodus come in please”
“Dean I don’t think their here…. Ill go get the general see if he is capable of doing anything now” replied Elliot.
“The Diviner this is the Pryden ship Exodus please come in”
Captain Conway met up with the general and told them of their situation, the general just said the same thing that he told Dean.
“Elliott get in here I found a weak heat signature coming from the surface of the planet, do you want me to check it out” Dean began flying the ship there before Elliott even got a word in. As they began descending threw the thick cloud cover, their hopes had just gone out the window, all that was there was rubble and half a ship. They were too late, it looks like they got to them first said Elliott with a pissed look on his face. Dean landed the ship near the crash site and ran outside and began to yell and hope that someone would yell back. Elliott decided to join him; he managed to get in the part of the ship, which wasn’t totally destroyed seeing it would be the best chance of finding someone there. Dean’s face looked shock when he saw the General walk off the ship looking fine.
“Sorry about earlier Dean, I’ve snapped out of it and I am back so there’s no need to ask if I am ok”
“Yes sir, help us look through this mess and see if anyone survived this” said Dean.
Captain Conway continued to look through the mess when he heard someone come up behind him.
“If you move one bit I will fire this weapon so don’t tempt me to” said the voice behind him.
Elliot dropped his weapon and put his hands on his head. He said that he was a member of the ship Exodus and that he is hear to help look for survivors”.
Dean and Robert continued to look through the rubble when they found an injured man on the ground that was still alive.
“I think he has only broken his leg,” said Dean. The General ordered Dean to get him on the ship while he continued looking. Dean ran inside the ship and put the injured man on one of the bunks. He noticed that a red light was flashing on the ships console; the Unknown Ship has just arrived in the planets orbit.
“GENERAL, CAPTAIN ELLIOTT WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!” yelled Dean.
