Historic Overview

Location: United Kingdom + Ireland

2012: A future Government contacts the present government using Temporal Technology. They give several technologies, and advisor's, including a powerful shield generator, termed "Perimeter Project" to defend and sustain against a forth coming nuclear/Anti-matter holocaust.

2015: An alien device from and extinct civilization is handed over to the British Government, it is designed to create "Hyperspace" in this universe. The device is activated on June 4th at 1500 hours.

2016: Hyperspacial field generators are implemented through-out the major cities, creating a so-called 'TARDIS' effect to prevent overcrowding. Other Techs include military hardware, and tectonic equipment which creates an island to the south of the Isle of Man.

2020: The Alien device terraforms Mars in a blink of of an eye, and turns it's orbiting moons into life sustaining planetoids. Foreign policy changes to accept more immigrants into Britain to assist in the forth coming isolation.

2031: "Perimeter project" is completed, with several generators to help expand the shield over all of mainland Britain and Ireland. Special nodes set to hold the perimeter wall into the sea are built some miles out to sea. Multi-species DNA are recovered and stored, as are ancient texts. A vast network of 200 Satellites armed with particle cannons and Anti-matter missiles now orbits the earth under direct command of Planetary Defense HQ in Cheltenham in place of GCHQ.
The UN falls apart due to political strife and terrorism activities, as well as a new very aggressive American President calling the shots. Britain withdraws from both the EU, UN and NATO. Britain closes its doors to immigrants, Destroys the Channel Tunnel and the navy Blockades Britain.

2035: At 0000hrs 1st January 2035 Perimeter is activated as every nuclear arsenal on the planet is unleashed. Britain deploys its Arsenal of A/M warheads and particle beam cannons on the world. The Earth, as seen from space, is blanketed in a violent EM, A/M (Anti-matter) Storm.
