Nice work! Keep it up!

I just don't know about this line of Spock though:

“As I said earlier,” stated Spock matter-of-factly, “I did that to save a highly skilled navigator, nothing more.”
I just think it sounds strange, even for a Vulcan. Spock would have saved anyone in a dangerous situation, no matter if it's a navigator or a street junkie, at least that my impression.

The latest part to the story was good. I liked the tip of the hat to the TNG ep Gambit. Look forward to the next part.

Just tell me the spelling errors and I'll edit it.

Yes there is a nice battle scene coming up. I'm listening to Star Wars and LOTR music to give me inspiration for this battle scene.

Sorry but i have to do it this way to keep you guys in suspense.

I just cant believe how many refernces to other Star Trek episodes I've been able to put in just this beginning part. If you go and watch the TOS episodes, Balance of Terror and Savage Curtain you be able to pick out alot of it.
