| Administrator | Gallery Clean Up Hi guys, We've recently done a major clean up in the Gallery section of the site to bring it into line with our new Gallery Rules and Guidelines. The thing many of you will note straight away is that all standard members are now limited to 15 images total. If you feel you have a new image that deserves to be displayed in the Gallery but you already have 15 images online, simply find what you feel to be a lesser image and remove it. This rule will ensure that the quality of submitted work in the Gallery will remain as high as possible. Your other alternative, of course, is to become a SFM Donor. This will allow you to have a total of 30 images in Gallery. Any donations to the site go completely to the day-to-day running of the site and will not be used for any other purpose. As I'm sure you can imagine, running a server that handles the volume of traffic that this site enjoys is not a inexpensive prospect. Please note: There is currently no software block on the amount of images you can upload. Therefore, we ask that members respect the rules and stick to their image limits. The Gallery Admins will be keeping an eye on member's accounts to make sure they comply and anyone over their quota will be contacted and asked to remove their images. If they do not comply within 72 hours, the Gallery Admins will remove as many images as necessary to bring the member's account into compliance. This process is as irritating as it no doubt sounds, so please do us a favour and save us the trouble. If you have any questions or comments on this issue, or any other for that matter, please do not hesitate to contact myself or any of the other Gallery Admins and Administrators. Alternatively, feel free to start a thread in the SFM Support Forum. Cheers guys, C. |
