| Administrator | New functionality - Filter "New Posts" Ok. This is something that will no doubt put a smile on a lot of faces. A number of you use the "New Posts" option in the forums to view the most recently updated threads at a glance. Previously, there has been complains that our resident automated reporter, NewsHottie has been spamming the New Posts list to the point where it is near impossible to find human posts quickly. If this scenario sounds all to familiar to you, this new forum hack is for you. All you have to do to get this rolling is go to your User CP and to the Edit Options section...Scroll right to the bottom and you will find the new options for filtering New Posts to remove entire sub-forums from the list. Enjoy guys, C. |

| | It's easy to see in these tired eyes, that blood has no value in modern life. | All time is held in stars, and it tears me apart. | [_]|||||||[_] | backstept.blogspot.com | |

| Administrator | Ok. It's been brought to my attention that this function isn't working perfectly yet. Apparently standard members can't see the Announcement forums in order to block out NewsHottie...When tested, Aceman and I had no problems, but we're Administrators and it may be a permissions related issue. One solution would be to make you all Admins but I just don't think that one's going to fly... ![]() Rest assured, we are looking into this guys... |
