| Administrator | Sci Fi Videos on YouTube In an effort to conserve bandwidth and advertise scifi-meshes.com I have begun the process of putting all of the videos from the Digital Tour onto YouTube.com. I only have part 1 of the BattleStar Galatica Panel online at the moment, but tonight, now that I have the files setup, more will go online. Additionally, a video embedding hack will be coming soon that will allow you to embed videos into threads on SFM and view only if you click on them. The demo I saw looked awesome, so look for that feature soon. Part 1 of the BattleStar Galactica Panel can be found here: Comment if you like, and or share the link with your friends. Aceman |

| Gee whiz!! | this is totally cool! this will give us a great easy way to share animations on site, with the obvious tradeoff on quality, but with the advantage of near instant playback vs long downloads or missing codecs |

| Administrator | Yes I saw and touched the life sized vipers. In the room with use were the two vipers you see there, to the left of the screen was another Viper which was more worn down http://www.scifi-meshes.com/tk421/bsg/damaged_viper.jpg , and behind us was the Raptor seen here: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/tk421/bsg/raptor.jpg A note about the Raptor, when we first arrived before the panel discussion is was all lit up and the side door was open, and all the computers, and buttons, etc were lit and man was it nice. But, after the panel they gave us the set tours, when we finally made it back into the hanger the Raptor was closed up and turned off.. I was rather bummed as I was hoping the photographer had gotten an interior shot.. it wasn't on the set of photos I got, however I'm told ALL of the photos are going to be made available to me via an FTP site soon, so I will definately have more photos to show you all soon. Hopefully that open and turned on Raptor photo is in there. BTW - ALL of the BSG Panel should be online on youtube tonight. I'll post the links here just as soon as they are processed. I'm rendering section 3 now. Aceman |

| Administrator | I've contacted the "host" of the event about getting ahold of that additional section.. To give you a minor spoiler, the chief actually says something about how he and the other cylons on the Galactica are unlike the cylons on a basestar.. rather interesting comment that seemed to ruffle a few feathers, and the topic was changed. |
