| Administrator | Tobian - Yes. Actually I can link to a url when the image is clicked. At the moment none of the images have a url attached. I'm more then willing to add a URL Link to a header image, IF the image is hosted in our gallery, forums, or somewhere on scifi-meshes.com. I'd rather not turn the site's header into an exit terminal to other external sites, hense my request that at a minimum the image be held within the Gallery OR the Forums (Any forum such as "3D Gallery, WIPs, etc). If you would like your image WITH a URL. Please include that with your submission. If you already have an image in the header and would like a URL added, please just PM me and I'll add it as soon as possible. Aceman |

| Administrator | I have toned down the White background. Less of an in your face appearance now I think. I'll keep tweaking it as I find little things here at there.. Things on my FIX IT list: Google ads are the wrong color for this style (white) Browns will shift to grays (white) Various Icons need reworking (white) Gallery section menu is wrong color for white style. I'm limited on what I'm able to do from the office, templates are next to impossible to edit as the javascript is blocked by the fire wall. But I can work on graphics, when it's slow around here. |

| very nice new theme, great work, I really like the lighter themes, that said is the one in the image going to become available too? With the grey background and black/yellow stiped paint on the sides, and blue lights? I think it looks even better than the current white although I agree to some degree that it should be about our work, I think these designs are not at all distracting despite looking quite cool, and imo are adding a lot to the forums and making them more pleasant to read through can't wait for the blue theme |

| Just did a little re-compositing on one of my images for the header - in case you're still looking for header images. ![]() Title: Finding Home Name: Jeffry Gugick ![]() (it's a png file so you can set any jpg compression that you need) I'm loving all of the new site updates, too, btw! |

| This time you see | Nice work Chris. Wasn't beating on you about a lack of blue-ness, this is just the first time since 2003 that I've comfortably browsed SFM without some form of blue theme active. I've usually found them easier on my eyes than other colours, but I'm really liking the standard SFM2008 theme- much more than the previous iteration. ![]() Looking forward to seeing the rest- and the homepage! |

| I can't wait for the blue theme, it was my favorite when I found I could change themes when I first came here . Also I have a question, what are site hacks? |

| Administrator | Hacks are edits to vbulletin that extend it's abilities beyond what comes in "the box" when you buy the software. For example, in the WIPs area, the fact that you can see a thumbnail preview of the thread attachments from the thread starter is a hack that was applied to vbulletin to generate that result. Hope that answers your question ![]() PS: Blue theme is just around the corner.. final touches. |
