Yeah.. anyone in the area (which almost all aren't) we can always use help moving things out and getting rid of hte mold.. I'm hoping we can get in tomorrow.. if not..then I guess it will be Thursday.. President will be in town tomorrow.

This is Norman (Dave's) wife posting under his name, just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that has given to our flood account...you may think just a few dollars woudn't make a difference, but from what I'm figuring with all that you have given us we might have our new furnace already paid for, and that is a big deal to us, to just have 1 less thing to have to worry about. We know we aren't getting any help from insurance, we can assume we probably wont' be getting much if any help from the government, but it means the world to all of us that ordinary people will reach out and help, and every little bit added up and helps a lot. Thank you for helping us replace what we need before winter and for giving us hope that we're not alone. We will truly never forget all of your kindness.

Update (20/Jun/2008)

Our home was finally released from the qurantine area.. We will be heading down there in a little bit to survey the damage and to remove all electronics

Update (20/June/2008):

After a good 12 hour shift we got quite a bit done today.. We only took pictures on the intiital walkthrough.. I will take more tomorrow before we start to work.

We got hte following accomplished:

• Living Room Stripped of Carpet and Furniture
• Dinning Room Stripped of Furniture and saved what we could
• Kid 1 (one in the pic) .. Stripped and saved some toys
• Kid 2.. Partially Stripped, still working on this one
• Kitchen, Appliances out.. Demo starts tomorrow
• Basement: We walked through, it's a mess

I have attached the pics of the walk through, as always you can go to the flickr page, full copies and all the pics are always there.. seems they put the newest on the bottom, FYI... Tanks for all the support and all the help...

Well we hope to be powerwashing the entire first and basement areas by tomorrow.. if everything goes okay.... once we do that (kills the mold) we will then start to demo what we need to demo, start getting new stuffs and try to get the electrician in to replace our Box, Outlets and such.. we have about a few weeks of work left.. hopefully soon tho.. I'm optimistic,,

Sorry about all the loss. Lots of demo a head though. Removing interiors is never what I'd call 'fun' work.
