| Daily update: (17/Jun/2008) Hello Everyone.. here is our daily update.. we were NOT able to re-enter our house today.. However.. we were able to convince an Air National Guard member to UNLOCK our door so they don't have to bash it in. The nice thing, the ANG is sitting in my front yard.. so there shouldn't be anyone going in the house. We were able to "Peak" in.. He said if we did it fast.. Seems that a few things got tossed about.. but the majority of the stuff looked good.. We also know that my Workshop (Wood) in the basement is toast.. so we are going to have to deal with that.. I just want to thank everyone for the donations that have come in so far.. You have given me a start on a down payment for the new water heater.. Now, we WERE able to get into my parents house.. let me tell you .. the smell. is overwhelming.. even with a respirator it was really bad.... | Update (18/Jun/2008): We may be able to re enter tomorrow.. todya was filled with lots of mucking around in toxic sludge at my parents house.. and chasing bats that were crawling aroun din the kitchen out.. And yes.. that's exactly what they are saying  |
