SFM Mobile is online

We are happy to announce that the Scifi-meshes.com Mobile Skin is now online for you mobile viewing pleasure. This skin is a streamlined version of SFM which should be viewable on most phone and PDAs. We hope you like the new skin! To use the skin simply point your mobile device to the website. SFM will auto detect your mobile unit and display the new mobile skin.

Definitely an interesting idea.

Looks nice on my trusty old Nokia 7710 but there´s still room for improvement (e.g. reducing the number of users who have visited (one huge blob of letters on an otherwise relatively spartan page). And for some reason the text fields for username and password span more than the screen´s 640px width although the latter may be a problem of the browser´s engine.

Somebody blow something up, I'm in a really bad mood. Thanks in advance.

Excellent.

Works fine on the crappy old E70 I'm using right now. Can't wait to try in on my new phone when it gets here.

WIP: Semi-Random Projects

Comco: i entered it manually in the back end

Glad it works on the E70 too; means I don't have to try it until the time comes there I remember back in the days that everytime I tried to view SFM I had to wait several minutes before my browser FINALLY had rendered something...

I think I may have been the first (or among the first) to use the mobile layout - I logged on yesterday evening around 7 p.m.

I like it a lot! It's sleek, loads fast, and looks great. My only complaint is that the "latest post" link takes me to the top of the last page. I'd love for that link to take me to my first unread post in that thread, or the first post to have been left after my last logon.

Also, I tried replying in a thread, and got a "certificate invalid" error message.

I'm using the iPhone to look at it, by the way.

Crimsonline - I'll research the Certificate issues tonight. Additionally, someone else on the hack site vbulletin.org also mentioned the latest post not working properly. I'll recheck to see if someone posted an update or fix for that very issue.

Love my iphone.

Neat, now I can visit the SFM with my ipod touch. Well, I did that before of course, but now it's way easier to read ^^.
