[Questions answered] - "Image Pending Approval" - Scifi-Meshes.com

I have been looking at the new gallery images that are on the home-page and when I click on them it says "Image Pending Approval." I have seen this go on for days with images and then they dissapear. I was wondering if this is just me or everybody has this or I am just impatient.

Ok. Thanks for bringing this to our attention guys. Personally, I have not noticed this because my Admin permissions let me see the image whether it's approved or not.

The problem here is, unlike in the actual gallery, the 'recent pictures' that are showing on the homepage are actually including those which are not yet approved by the Gallery Admins. All images submitted to the gallery are subjected to Admin approval to ensure they meet the requirements set forth in the Gallery Rules (proper credits applied, etc).

Basically, Ace is going to have to change whatever method he is using to fetch the latest images from the Gallery to include only the approved images (the same way the Gallery index page does).

Normally, approval of images is very quick indeed. Unfortunately, a few of our staff are away this week and that has caused a slow-down with approvals.

I added a tag in the SQL to not show unapproved images.. this may have unintended consequences.. so I'll neeed to investigate it tomrrow some more.. but you shouldn't see htose now on the main page..
