Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | downloading issues Hello, my name is Aaron and i use 3D-Studio Max for my modeling. I am new here and I am having a bit of a hard time downloading models for viewing. It says I do not have permission to view the page and that I need to contact an administrator. How do you contact one and is there anything else I need to do to download? |

Downloads: 1 Uploads: 0   | have you signed in to the meshes area? Because it is a separate part of the site, you need to sign in there, even if you are signed in to the Forum area.  |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Ok I've got another downloading problem; Sometimes when I try to download movies that members have posted in the forum sections, the download says it's finished (when it's only halfway through) and I only get half the movie. Any ideas as to why this could be happening? I'm wondering if since I have Dial-up maybe the download is timing out or something and just thinks it's finished?? |

Downloads: 8 Uploads: 32  | Several users have indicated issues with downloads recently. There are two things I have discovered. 1. Members are logged into the FORUM and then goto MESHES area and are unable to download. YOU MUST LOG INTO THE MESHES AREA ALSO. It is a seperate area of the site, that uses the forums user files to check that you are registered. So log in at the TOP of the MESHES AREA - BEFORE attempting to download. Also - we recognize that the meshes are is crap and we hope to get a new system up someday. Our apologizies. 2. Sometimes when downloading a file from the server. I tend to only get a small snippet of the file like (100K of a 3MB file), on my FIRST attempt to download the file. IF I click to redownload the file again, this second attempt will download all 3MB of the file. I am still investigating why this happens and if I can figure it out I will post an anouncement to the members. Aceman |
