Updating thread thumbnails

Hi, a while ago the thread thumbnail in the 3D wips section would show the latest attached image of the thread creator, now it shows the first image.

Is there a way to insert an attachment that was uploaded with a different post in the first post, in order to update the thread thumbail? As of now, I'd need to upload the image again, sacrificing precious attachment space.

Thanks in advance,
Melak

nope it only takes from the last image posted to the first thread. i often just move the old images to the next post and key a new wip thumb image to the 1st post. When you do this you can attach a tiny image thuich only using say 7k of your attachment space.

How exactly do you move the attachments, do you delete and re-upload them or is there another way? Thanks so far, would've been to easy if there was...an easier way

This is a functionality we would love to see. In fact, Norman was trying to do just that a few months ago. Unfortunately, we ran into some technical barriers. It worked, but we were getting a few nasty database errors as a result I believe. We haven't given up on this just yet, but it is not a top priority. We have plenty of other projects for Norman to work on.

Good to know, thanks! Afterall, it would save you a tiny bit of space so it's not only beneficial to the users
