header drag - Scifi-Meshes.com

i've noticed the header seems to be slowing down the site. everything else loads up fine but i need to wait until the banner catches up before i can move on. anyone else? been a day or two for me.

Now the term "header" get's thrown around oddly here.

By header do you mean the 3 part picture behind hte login/menu bar or the 5 images that go across the top?

It could also have been server lag..

thanks for the reply. it's the 5 images across the top.

also, the lag isn't there when i'm not logged in and just browsing around. only when i sign in and start moving about does the header seem to get bunged up. very strange.

I ran a check on the database and it showed all tables were fine. Additionally it's loading fast on my home pc and work.

The header refered to loads first for me then the 3part backdrop then the Ace to the gate then google banner. Thread content crops up in the middle. Pacific time I have noticed after midnight the site does slow. (could be my route)
