cant unzip some meshes - Scifi-Meshes.com

Hi, Great site, love it, but having issues unzipping some files from meshes, three now have come up error with winrar and wont unzip??? any known dramas? Some have been fine also. The files are the stargate ones, atlantis, gould death glider and thedaedulus. Can you help? Regards shinybitz

Verify your file sizes, more than likely its a incomplete download.

Maybe related or not, but that happened to me a few months ago with a colleague's rar file.
He did zip it with a more recent version of winrar.
Upon installing the same version, everything worked right.

Thanks folks! But I downloaded them more than once each and also updated my Winrar too, but no go. Sizes correlate, but when viewed with winrar before extraction there is no model file only the mat jpegs??? At a loss on this one.

You did follow the procedure listed in that url?
CRC the files these are what I got
[!] CRC of file deathglider_v1.zip (3.2MB): 295D2794
This one is a 3ds, c4d and fbx format

[!] CRC of file Atlantis.zip (28.9MB): 89C009B0
The deadalus I dunno which you dled.
[!] CRC of file USAF_Daedalus.zip (4.1MB): 136C538F
[!] CRC of file daedalus_v1.zip (1.2MB): D18EE420

all of these dled and extracted for me.

The winrar thing is old like version2 if you have something newer than v3 than you should be good to go.

My final thread on this subject, thankyou for pointing me to the other forum thread, I have actually solved this problem by simply turning off my download manager, so there you go, something as basic as that. Who would have thought. Thankyou all for your help. Much appreciated.
