New 3D WIPS sticky? bits'n'pieces

thinking it would be nice if there was a sticky in the 3d wips section for bits and pieces people are working on that aren't worthy of a full thread.

sorta like ozy's: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...-projects.html

or the turret thread we had a while back.

might be good for just bouncing small ideas/meshes/concepts off others.

good idea? i dunno.

Not really sure on this one, I'm inclined to say leave it as it is. There is no reason to not start a new thread. I will wait for a higher up to make a decision.

I'm not entirely sure what it would add to the forum?

The whole point of 3d WIP is to function as a place where you can bounce ideas off of your peers and your most avid fans. I'm not sure how a sticky thread is better than someone simply opening up one for his side projects (which is essentially what happens now)? As an added bonus the personal threads follow the flow of the forum, so if there's nothing going on for a while, they sink a bit lower on the index, instead of lurking on the first page with no new content for months.

So, I guess what I'm really trying to ask is, why?

WIP: Semi-Random Projects

Comco: i entered it manually in the back end
