Ok I dunno if it was this thread I saw comments about linked imbedded images and being able to justify the size but this code on another forum allos the code to pre-see the image size so it doesnt bounce all over.
Code:
 [img width=210 height=600]http://www.fakeurl.com/image.jpg[/img]
[img width=210 height=600]http://www.madfishway.rr.nu/brush.jpg[/img]

oh heh I guess not T_T There might be a option for this? since the other forum utilises most of the same codes Unless this is a specific hack.

MKF - it would solve half the problem that's being discussed. That being that it would definitely stop the page from jumping all over while loading (which would be great) but it wouldn't solve the issue of people not wanting to download large images in the thread proper.

Shrug could always do liek I do when I open threads about video work to find a youtube link or other streaming activeX thing,
Close the window.

Either way I saw that code being appended to my attachments on another forum (diffrent base script but I hoped) And though about putting it here since it does annoy me slightly when the page is bouncing all over.
shrug
oh well the horse is dead >

you're not beating the same horse, MKF, so no prob! Certainly a useful idea, if it could be done.
