No access - Scifi-Meshes.com

Been unable to access scifi-meshes from my home pc

I tried the connection and see no errors. I tried with ie7 and fox with no luck

send me a message via email please as I am only able to log on from strangers pc

I am on the verizon wireless broadband if that helps

Are you having problems accessing other websites?

It would be helpful to know at what point you experience trouble with SFM- can you get to the logon screen, or does the whole thing just not appear?

I was just about to leave this pc glad you responded. the exact error:

Interent explorer cannot display the webpage.

I have no problems with anyother sites. Think a active x control or other add-in? possibly?

I been having simular problems at home, but a refresh sorts out the problem.

You could try deleting your bookmark and clearing your temporary files- including cookies, and re-navigating to the site. It sounds like your PC isn't accessing or linking up with something on the site.

As far as I'm aware there are no ActiveX controls running on SFM- certainly not for logging in or viewing the forums, as I'm browsing on a Mac now, and they don't like ActiveX at all.

Seems to me that it's an issue with your computer communicating with this site- thats why I recommend clearing cookies and saved information, and retrying. Also, try navigating to the main index page (www.scifi-meshes.com) as well as Scifi-Meshes.com - Powered by vBulletin.

This is interesting....I dumped Verizon Wireless and am now with Alltell [for issues not related to SFM] and now I have access to SFM again. See another reason to Hate Verizon

What do you think that was about?

Guess it is not over. Even though I have acess I have all red x on the images...what is that about? How do I correct this

Sorry Ebolii, have been away for the past couple of days.

I'm not sure about that, am I understanding it right, that you can access the site fine, but are not seeing any images at all? or is it just user-added images that you are having trouble with?
