    Warp Nacelle Evolution

This Star Trek TOS Enterprise Warp Nacelle comes from the question: What would the internal construction look like if it followed the Enterprise NX-01 evolution? Let me know what you think.

Question: What did it look like in the first place? I never once saw the inside of the nacelles and I've seen every episode of TOS and TAS.

I'm not going to say you're not doing nice work, because you are. However, how exactly does it differ from the internal arrangement that we never saw of the original ship?

    Very Cool... and beautifully done!

I have been working with Ricky Wallace (MadMan) on the same premises of ST design evolution with our design project, The Prime Alternative. And, it would be very interesting to work-out the nacelle internals for our 1701, as you have done so brilliantly here... Great Work!

There are cross-sections and illustration of the original nacelles interior arrangement out on the web from the time period of TOS. But none that could easily translate into the warp nacelle development theories brought out in TNG and later retrofitted into Enterprise. I looked into the commonalities of the NX-01, NCC-1701-D, and other more modern nacelle designs.
