BolianAdmiral raises a fair point on the keypad; mostly though I'm coming from an aesthetic POV on it, in that it'd simply look neat to have one either on or underneath it -- it doesn't have to be for the purpose of locking it though; it could be a control to run weapons diagnostics, or recharge, etc, assuming it's not entirely automated.

Rekkert it looks much better without the brackets!

Rusty, you posted while I was writing so I didn't get to see your post. Keep in mind that in the case of DS9 things are different as it's a Bajoran station, there are political ramifications to having unlocked Starfleet weapons available there, as Odo mentions several times in the series.

But again, it's your call, so I'll add the keypad.

Well, you do all have fair points about the keypads. That being said, that doesn't mean a combination ALWAYS has to be entered into it in order to open it. The locks can be enabled/disabled via the computer. There would be contingencies where something like that might be needed, most likely. Perhaps most of the time they're unlocked except for when the occasion calls for it. And given what Starfleet vessels might find in the unknown, such contingencies would most likely happen.

That's a fair point! I've added the keypad. Give the size I've added it above the locker, as if I added it below the locker door it would be too uncomfortable to use.

Good idea, although the style of the keypad above the locker really seems a bit off (since it's a vertical one turned to the side).

Something like this might work better:

Furthermore, here's a revised version of "Sound of the Shiant," the first "Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Galaxy Chronicles" adventure. Changed some dialogue, adjusted one of the scenes to work better, etc. I know some of you have looked at it and haven't gotten back to me yet.

Oh, that's a good keypad! I had originally based it on this one which is also (weirdly) sideways, but here it is with the more apt version you sent:

I've worked on the fire extinguishers. The question now is where to put them? I came up with two options, either one in each door alcove, or one in each side of the bridge, below the side panels. Thoughts?

Put them in the door alcoves, one in each of the four.
