| I type really fast, among other things. | Buy It Like Beckham: $1200 iPod Touch What do you get the man who's a soccer superstar, an international model and married to a Spice Girl? Why, an iPod Touch - but not just any old iPod.To honor David Beckham's 100-cap in official matches, his teammates pooled together to get him a unique, 32 gigabyte iPod Touch that's both covered in gold and custom engraved. It cost them a whopping ₤600, but Beckham's gold iPod looks a hell of a lot better than the Swarovski-studded monstrosities tasteless celebrities usually spring for. The iPod has the banner for the England national team up top, Beckham's name down below and his 100-cap achievement right under that. Beckham received the iPod from his mates after playing a match against France last week, playing as an LA Galaxy midfielder. Via Techpin More... |

| This time you see | There's about a dozen of the "plain" 24 carat gold iPod's in the hands of people with more money than sense- a Dubai businessman bought four of them- though that one is the most expensive because of the capacity and the engraving. |

| I don't think it's that bad, it's not like he bought it for himself, I think it's a nice idea from his teammates to commemorate the 100th cap in fact the only thing I find tacky about this is that they chose an ipod for it - style over substance, apple suck!!!1one |

| This time you see | It's not off his team-mates, and the citation on the back reads a bit more than what DVice have listed there, but thats another story... |
